| Pati's Mexican Table (PBS) is filmed in Pati Jinich's kitchen at home. She has over 30 peppers in her parterred vegetable garden and a plethora of colorful and textural plantings to reflect her love of color. Pati's garden was a blank slate 2 years ago with construction fill surrounding the house. Her garden began from the ground up, and like a good recipe, the garden started with good soil. Pati features her garden on her syndicated cooking show, so that meant it needed to be inspiring, comfortable and have good angles. Her garden is loaded with interesting plants, espaliered figs, heirloom apple trees, heirloom pear trees and many succulents to honor her Mexican heritage, and best of all Pati's garden is a reflection of her charming character. |
