Tudor Home and Garden

In this authentic Tudor home in Edgemoor, we designed and built a garden that wraps the house. Over 3 years of construction, we tackled one side of the house at a time starting with the rear garden, large reflecting pool and fountain and Long Pergola, then developing the Evening Terrace off the reading room adjacent to the Rose Garden Walk. The Long Border 15’ wide by 75’ long is a spectacular vision of hundreds of different perennials and flowering shrubs sited along the Evening Terrace. The Rose Garden Walk features over 30 hard to find English and French Bourbon and Musk roses. There is a path leading from the productive Orchard through the Long Border to the Evening Terrace. The Evening Terrace overlooks the large reflecting pool and fountain and the Long Pergola. From the Long Pergola and seating area on a stone terrace under the pergola is the winding stone path through the native garden to the spa garden. The front gardens include a Bowling Lawn and semicircular pea gravel driveway with paths to the front stoop and extensive woodland plantings and hedges in the front gardens with lovely fencing to frame the entrance and designate a separate service parking area.
